If I were Filthy Rich
By WhaIDontEven
+32 My list.

If I won the lottery, assuming enough to never have to work again, I would...

...put my house in order, discarding things I do not need or do not want, do not “spark joy,” knowing that I would not have to conserve energy to go to work the next day, or postpone projects out of sheer exhaustion.

...sleep soundly knowing my future and the security of my family would be well tended to.

...think about what amenities I want to have and find a place to live with them (maybe move to a place where amenities can be accessed, but not possessed, so as to keep a lighter footprint).

...secure excellent private and skilled companionship and care for a parent who is going through the descent into dementia and disability.

...exercise, again, knowing that I would not have to worry about conserving my energy to go to work the next day, or postpone it out of sheer exhaustion.

...invest in quality food and preparation.

...therapy.

...experiences.
