If I were Filthy Rich

+86 Powerball hit 333 mil this morning. What are you getting with the jackpot?

So, yes, of course you're getting layers, financial team, etc., and you're getting your dream house and your future is secure financially for generations. You have, let's say, 100 mil left after giving to charity, family and friends, and all that.

What are you getting yourself? What's the one thing you've always wanted but could never afford, but now you can?

For me, 57 Chevy Bel Air, convertible, black and chrome with dark cherry red interior, maxed out with all of today's luxuries.

+53 @buchsy I would permanently hire a personal masseuse and a personal chef

+29 @SplashyFlashy I would buy the top of the line sewing machine, cover stitch machine, and embroidery machine! I would also hire a professional designer to create the sewing/craft room of my dreams.

+24 @pendletonskyforce Around the clock care for my girlfriend's sick mom.

+22 @avidpretender Hire a team of people to get me an Xbox Series X so I don’t have to continuously check.

+21 @ComfortableClothes28 Sounds cliché but I’m going to Disney world!

+19 @imaguylikeme For starters I’d buy a large old Victorian style home with a large basement. I would have the basement converted over to a home movie theater that has a fake mom & pop video store outside of the theater so you can select your movie before going in. I would also have an arcade room & a large toy room where I can continue to grow my large collection of action figures. I’m not a car guy but I would want a movie car of a Delorean outside of my current everyday car. I lost my best friend back in June & when the time would feel right another Boston Terrier to keep me company. Buy some nice photography equipment & a good editing computer for it. I would buy Mets season tickets. A home gym would be nice too. Lastly; I would quit my job & not work for a while & just do whatever I want everyday until I felt I needed structure that is if I ever felt I needed structure ever again. If I were to get a job again it would be something real easy going where you can meet people like Trader Joe’s or Stewart’s convenience shops.

+15 @TJCasperson Besides the normal stuff that everyone talks about here, I’m getting my pilots license, my instrument rating, multi-engine, jet, and commercial certs. Then, I am buying a Lockheed Martin C130 and going to the Lockheed Martin Hercules training center in Georgia to learn the ins and outs of the plane. Then I hire a full-time copilot. And I can literally go anywhere in the world with my own car. And all I need is a 2-mile runway. True freedom.

+12 @GravyDavy78 Buy every Lego Set I've ever wanted as well as all the video games I ever wanted. I have a big house now for the room I need, and I'm retired so I have all the time in the world to play. Oh, also, hire a cleaning service to clean my new house.

+12 @irontan Brand new socks. Everyday. Forever.

+11 @yamaha2k11 I’m a simple man. I just want a Nissan/Datsun 240Z from the 70’s in showroom condition. Actually two. One that’s pretty much stock, and another one customized and tricked out. Nothing too gaudy, but basically something with more horses under the hood and with more modern amenities retrofitted in the interior. And a personal chef to cook me some delicious and healthy meals. Hire a personal trainer. I’d like to go back to school and start over, but I’d like to pursue biochemistry. I know it sounds strange that I’d want to continue to work, but I find the subject pretty fascinating and I’d like to do research or maybe start a biotech company. I’ll at least have some capital to start up, I’d just have to drum up some more money, but maybe having money will afford me opportunities to run elbows with other wealthy people and I could maybe network and be able to find investors.

+10 @Stereotype_Apostate Travel for at least a year. Sell/give away most of my possessions, get a backpack with some nice clothes and just flow through the world for a bit. Then when I come back, or find somewhere I like better, then I'll buy a bunch of rich guy stuff.
