If I were Filthy Rich

+12 When I win the 100 million dollar lottery

The first thing I'll do is I won't tell anyone. Then I'll start looking into reputable financial lawyers and accountants. I'll keep going to work for the first few weeks while I set everything up.

After a few days I'll be in contact with the lawyer. I'll then inform my family what has happened and tell them not to tell a single soul or they're not getting shit. I'll then discretely quit from my workplace, telling them that I am moving jobs. I'll claim the ticket online. In my country you can stay anonymous and the winnings are not taxed at all, so I'd get the full 100 million if I was the only winner.

At this point the news would reach the media that someone in my city won the 100 million lottery. Assuming my family told no one, there shouldn't be any rumours about me, no one should suspect a thing. But sometimes you try so hard to keep things under wraps but somehow it still gets out.

This is why I'd immediately be looking to leave my city and move somewhere warm up north. While I'm setting all this up, I'd move into luxury hotels in my city and just move around frequently to avoid attention.

At this point I'd send a message to one work colleague just kind of hinting that I won. I want the rumor to spread around my workplace so that people go "damn I talked to him a couple times but didn't think much of him and now he's worth 100 mil". I want people to know just how close they were to 100 million, just how close they were to living the high life with me. I'm spiteful like that.

I'd also let a few messages off in old disbanded friend groups to get them jelly af. I know there were some haters among them so I want them to know that I have 100 million and they ain't getting shit. I want them to regret ever losing contact with me, even though I didn't even wanna hang with them anyway. I want them to realize I was destined for greatness and they should have stuck by my side to be a part of it. Whereas for the homies that were always down with me, they real homies so I'll always bring them on luxury escapades, probably give them permanent jobs, if they want, on my staff team that I would eventually create.

High key, I eventually want everyone to know that I won. I want even people from early childhood to find out it was me that won. Rumours of this magnitude spread fast so it probably will spread really fast. I'll probably be getting so many messages on my facebook begging for money or begging to hang out even though we haven't seen each other in like 10 fucking years. I won't give money to any of them though because it's fake as fuck to crawl back into someone's life when you hear they won a massive amount of money. I'd probably just send them straight up hate messages like "you forgot I even existed, why tf should I give you shit?"

Although with some of the people, I might fly them out to luxury places, give them a taste of the high life, catch up a bit. I'd test them a bit, just to see if they're fake or not.

At this point I'd start travelling around the world and looking to buy a new mansion. I'll probably get a nice apartment in Singapore or Thailand, always wanted to live over there. I'd look into buying a nice luxury mansion in LA or Miami. I'd get my own limo and chauffeur, chef, butler and servants. I'd invest all my money into stocks, bonds and property. I'd rock up to luxury clubs in a limo and chill in VIP. Probably do a lot of partying and meeting other rich people, start getting connected and building up a network, you know, doing typical rich people shit.

I would also buy my parents a mansion in whatever country they want and get them nice cars. I'd give them monthly checks rather than a lump sum.

By the end of all this I'd hope to have my own personal staff team that coordinates everything for me. I hope to have a network of rich people so I can get special investment offers and business connections as well as exclusive access to luxury parties, high quality cocaine and high end escorts. I'd be saving up for a yacht too.

As for what I want to do with my life. The first few years would mostly be travelling the world and living the high life. I don't want too many responsibilities other than managing investments and staff. But once I get bored, maybe I'd want to start a company and do personal charity on the side. Not fake shit like donating but actually setting up sanctuaries and doing real shit. I'd probably be giving money out all the time, like if I see someone do a good thing I'd track them down and give them money. I'd be looking for the real people in a world of fakes.

Additionally, once I get bored of the money and luxury. I'd get a small, crappy house and get a factory or mcdonalds job and live like that for a couple of months. Just to reset everything. Then I could appreciate the money and luxury again.

I don't expect anyone to read this but I had fun writing this. And when I say "when" I really do mean when. I know deep down I will win this 100 mil jackpot one day, or at least a 50+ million jackpot. I feel it on a primordial level, I just intuitively know I will win. It's like knowing I will die one day, it's that same level of certainty. It's just a matter of when and I suspect I will win it anywhere from 3-6 years from now.

+21 @skeetsauce People always get step 1 (lawyers) and step 2 (accountants) right, but they always forget step 3: Go to a sperm bank then get a vasectomy.

+17 @Ed495 You sound like a dick.

+11 @kaiserpuss You sound like a bitter, insecure loser...to be brutally honest. You 100% would be one of those lottery winners who end up broke or dead, probably both, based on this post.
