I like to imagine how I might spend at different amounts of winnings, based on how many numbers I might match - would love to hear yours! (Imagine this is the amount in your pocket after taxes, after you hire an accountant / financial advisor, after you give a chunk to charity - this is how much money is in your pocket to spend however you want)

Example:

$500 - I’d go out on a super extravagant date with my husband

$5,000 - I’d buy myself and my husband new “gadgets” - new phones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles etc / or go on a family vacation

$25,000 - I’d probably take $5000 towards new gadgets / date night, and put the rest into investments

$100,000 - new car, a bit of fun money, the rest into investments

$500,000 - down payment on a house

$1 million - either a down payment on a bigger house, but more likely just buy a house with no mortgage

$5 million - buy the house I want, plus a new car, plus maybe a small investment apartment, anything leftover would go into investments.

$20 million - buy whatever house I want, a couple investment properties, a vacation homes, plan huge vacations for my relatives and friends, hire a “team” like personal trainer, nanny, cleaner etc that I would pay with the rent I’d be getting from my investment properties
