If I were Filthy Rich

+80 How have your dreams changed?

For those who have been buying tickets for a while, how have your dreams evolved over the years? Maybe they've stayed the same all along?

For me, the longer I play the more I've been able to think about the best way to improve my life. My desires between 1 million and 100 million are no longer drastically different. Sure more money would definitely provide a much greater amount of financial security. However, at the end of the day I just want a worry free life with paid off assets. Maybe the ability to give to a few families in need or donate some free sports equipment to my daughters team. Just bring some sprinkles of joy here and there to others, while I enjoy a life free of financial stress.

+45 @blonktime I think there is a major difference between 1 and 100 million. If I win $1 million, I'm still working tomorrow. Sure, I'll probably be able to retire earlier, maybe get a new car, but most of that money is going to be invested so I can have more financial stability later in life. If I win $100 million, The wife and I are quitting tomorrow, buying a new house, a nice car, paying off my sibling's mortgage, traveling the world, funding my nephew's college, setting up a trust for my kids to always be financially stable. Maybe I'll start a new passion project business. As long as I'm not losing significant amounts of money, and enjoying what I'm doing, I'll keep the business going. Maybe my kids will take it over one day, maybe I'll sell it, maybe I'll just close shop when I'm tired of doing it.

+30 @breadad1969 When I was in my 20’s it was a big huge house, cool cars, private jet. On my 50’s it’s a medium sized house, on the marina, medium sized boat, nice but not exotic car, endless travel, and take care of my kids.

+27 @Top_Actuator364 I just want to change my zip code and have spinal fusion surgery to fix my back without having to worry about medical bills.

+20 @KrAff2010 My daughter is now included in every one of them. Started following the big jackpots 4-5 years ago before my wife and I married. We married in 2023 and immediately started trying for a baby. Took almost 2 years to get pregnant but our little girl just turned 1 so she has a room in every house I look at, a car seat in every vehicle, and a spot on every beach resort I imagine us at. I still only play when the jackpots get over $200 million. If I can’t daydream about having fuck you money the ticket isn’t worth it to me.

+14 @Un_luckycat I've never wanted anything fancy, just to feel comfortable and safe, but I have a relative that helped me through a medical issue and she has a daughter about to hit college age, I wouldn't hate taking that off her plate.

+12 @throwawayfromPA1701 They've matured since I've gotten more cautious with money as I've aged, despite making much more of it now than when I bought my first ticket at 22. Having an actual plan though, that's something I have now if my one ticket a month actually wins.
