I've always wanted a bit of tungsten. A sphere or small brick. A bit to have on the desk and appreciate. At $275/kilo (for a 1.5" cube) it's not expensive per se but cool and unnecessary.

+11 @CholentSoup A summer greenhouse. I'll also get a heated winter one but one for the summer just because. Also I'd get a lifetime supply of incandescence bulbs and light my home with them. Not because they're better but just because I can. And an electric assist bike. It's useless.
