+29 What to do when winning the Lottery in Arkansas

This question is specifically about Arkansas and what to do when you win the Lottery.

The back of the ticket should already be signed. That should have been done when the ticket was purchased.

Upon winning you only have 180 days to claim the Jackpot. So, time is of the essence.

We already know not to tell anybody. Family, friends, work associates, etc. But that really doesn't matter, because if you win over $500k, you can only remain anonymous for up to three years, after which it becomes public record. The only way I can find around this is to claim it though a trust or LLC to maintain privacy.

We know that you need a financial advisor, attorney and tax specialist. The question is, who specifically would you recommend? I've tried Googling it but can't find any that specialize in this. Are there any financial advisors, attorneys and tax specialist that specialize in this sort of situation?

For transparency, I did not win.

+25 @jetery You don’t do anything, including signing the ticket, until you talk to an attorney and accountant. If you sign the ticket you could forfeit the ability for certain tax breaks that might be available.
