If I were Filthy Rich
By Traditional-Low7651+62 Above which sum could you say that "you won the lottery"
Edit: theoritical question, not asking if you're gonna tell anyone but more what you perceive winning the lottery to be
Is it going to be 1$ ? 10$ ? 1.000$ ? 100.000$ ? 10.000.000$ ?
Also, does the amount change depending if you're talking to: your spouse, parents, relatives, coworkers, reddit ?
would also be curious if your country of origin changes the perception

+107 @drsuperfly Anything $10 and below I'm telling people I won the lottery. Anything over that and I'm not telling anyone.
+41 @roger_roger_32 Reminds me of the old joke: Husband comes home and announces: "I won the lottery today!" Wife says "Fine, I'm going to take half and leave you!" Husband says, "OK, it's a $10 prize, so here's $5. Don't forget to write."
+17 @StilesmanleyCAP As long as you win a prize from a lottery game You can say you won the lottery.
+13 @TeaEarlGrayHotSauce I’ve won a hundred bucks a couple times, I told people, no one cared really lol
+12 @eastkent I'm in the enviable (?) position where I could win this week's Euro draw (£122m) and I could hide it with complete ease, no problem at all. The benefits of being old-ish and having little family. I would help a few friends, lots of strangers, and nobody would know I was rich.
+11 @PickASwitch Why would I tell my coworkers about a financial windfall? Why would I tell ANYONE?!
