+16 @Interesting_Sun The UK Powerball will be paid out over 30 years, they still won't pay tax on lotto winnings and they don't have the choice of lump sum as is done in the USA so when will a UK winner actually get a billion dollars? Even if they won a billion dollar jackpot this year, it would probably be 30 years?

+11 @Ungreat It's annoying the American lottery jackpot style is being reported in UK news. It isn't a £1b jackpot if it's paid out in £30m installments. That's less than the return on the £1b if you invested it. Still life changing money but I hate the artificial jackpots for headlines.
