In Australia, there’s this jackpot three times a week called ‘Weekday Windfall’. The top prize is $1 million AUD and there’s no tax on lottery in Australia, so you’d get the full amount.
$1 million doesn’t go as far as it used to, so what would you do with it?
I could buy a property, but not necessarily a dream property; just a satisfactory roof over my head (i.e. an alright townhouse) and an alright car. Does anyone have any exciting ideas other than buying a mediocre property, which is sadly all I can think of.
