If I were Filthy Rich
By jeffreen21+19 Nyc annuity question
Does anyone know if a winner has to pay NYC tax on annuity payments even if they move out of the city? I know that you have to pay state taxes even if you move, but I can't find a clear answer on if NYC taxes follow also.

+12 @11Cook14 Most states will make you continue paying state taxes on lottery winnings even after you move since it was their lottery game you played and won with. So they would lock you into a “Nonresident state tax” that you would still have to pay even if you moved states. But NYC wouldn’t tax you if you moved out of the city.
