If I were Filthy Rich

109 If you won the lottery, what’s the first boring thing you’d do?

Not talking about mansions or yachts I mean like paying off that one annoying bill, upgrading an old appliance, or finally fixing that leaky roof.

114 @emccm Hire someone to finish off all the annoying small projects around the house.

96 @ghosttravel2020 Overdue dental work.

75 @SexyWampa Sleep. I'd just sleep for a bit. Knowing I don't have anymore day to day hustle and grind to do, and have nowhere to be for as long as I want. I could turn my fucking alarm off and just wake up whenever. Heaven on earth...

51 @androidlolita I'd get my car fixed a bit more! My grandma gave me her car, and I still drive it to this day. It's a little over 20 years old now (I got it when it was close to 10 years old or so), and while I get maintenance done to it and take great care of it, I'd love to be able to get the more vanity-related things taken care of. I've had people tap my car, plus just the typical wear and tear of time degrading various parts of the car. A fresh paint job, new front and rear bumpers, new headlights, and new rims would be on my list! I love my car, and even after I win the lottery, I will still drive it!

44 @JurassicPark-fan-190 Splurge for the guacamole at chipotle

35 @throwawayfromPA1701 I think my fridge is about to go. It's 15. So replace that? Not with anything that has the internet tho. My fridge does not need to be on the internet.

32 @Slight-Instance-5716 I’ll retire my dad

28 @None [deleted]

27 @Macster_man get an appointment with the world's best diabetes doctor

27 @Rude-Manufacturer-86 After the tax attorney, accountant, and creating trusts? Order takeout.

22 @BleedingTeal Go to work the next day.

20 @silent_fungus After all the legal stuffs (financial advisor, attorneys, etc) I would pay off my debt and the debt of my siblings, parents. Also buy a normal car since I don’t have one now. Walking in the heat and taking public transportation kinda sucks.

17 @TN_REDDIT I'd buy a whole beef tenderloin, bag of charcoal and some king crabs. I'd probably splurge on some nice beer instead of the inexpensive stuff that I usually buy 😄 I'd put Michelin tires on my vehicles and get the a/c in my truck fixed. I like to tinker, so I might just buy the parts and try to fix it myself.

16 @thai_iced_queef Probably just medical shit if that counts as boring. Whatever the highest level of check up and blood work is. I would pay to get put under for deep teeth cleaning, fillings and all that. Maybe lasik if not several pairs of glasses and like 5 years worth of contact lenses. Hire a dermatologist to make me custom skin care formulas. All that type of stuff to improve my overall health.

15 @DeMagnet76 The first boring thing I would do is…nothing. I wouldn’t do anything for over a month. You have 90 days to collect and I’d have a LOT of financial planning to do so I wouldn’t be meeting with lawyers and people like that as I try to figure out how to not fuck this up.

15 @Ruthless4u Clear my debts and set up investments.

14 @ThrowinSm0ke I'd just go play golf at one of the nicer courses around me.

14 @no_reason88 Pay off all my student loan debt, switch my Kia soul for the 2025 and pay it off, then talk to a financial advisor, buy a small apartment complex 1-3 units. Once that is going well, buy a cheap home live in it for awhile and fix it up ,and rent it out or self it, unsure.

14 @eastkent I would immediately go online shopping for a nice campervan.

14 @Bishopx1976 If i won millions on the lottery, I would go for a walk , cry and then go to church. After that , pay off all family debt and book us all into a nice hotel in London for a week or two whilst I contemplate the next move.

14 @ComprehensiveMath888 Quit my job effective immediately

13 @Commercial-Novel-786 Hire a yard crew to maintain. I almost can't do it anymore myself.

13 @Most_Talk_2067 Get a roof on the house. Hire a landscaper to do a few things.
