+38 So what's your plan if you win? Not another what would you post buy but what would do?

Everyone here has dreams of winning. If you won what is your plan? Do you already have an attorney that you'd like to use? Who would you tell? Where would you keep your ticket safe until you claimed it? Would you move to a new city or state? Would you keep working? Maybe set up charity? Would you take care of friends and family?

I'm more interested in what peoples plans would be after they won than I am about what you would buy with your winnings.

+19 @IndependenceShort768 Based on current prize: ~69m after taxes 1. Store it inconspicuously. Never let it out of sight. Take photos and make photocopies of it, get story straight on when and where I bought the ticket. 2. Hire team (Lawyers, CPA, financial advisor). 3. Set up banking info, LLCs, and Trust. Still researching, but it may be an irrevocable living trust. 4. Take a loan from bank to pay off debt, and find temporary place to stay while I tour my zillow list. 5. Claim ticket anonymously. Can do in my state due to its value. Would claim as LLC, since the ticket would be a public record subject to FOIA. LLC would make it more difficult to discover. Get out of Dodge. 6. Buy home and cars (nice point A to B car) for family. Nothing flashy. They won't get their own place, but at least a roof over their head and their own pest-free room for privacy. 7. Invest in ~10m in bonds and 5m in some stocks. Will adjust if safe to. 8. Keep some to pay the remainder 13.5% federal tax (Only 24% is withheld initially). Also, save for possible state tax. 9. Keep remainder in the bank. Put the main card in a safe, and have another for daily life. 10. Get a security system, hire personal trainer and therapist. Setup a nice gaming room.

+17 @Old-Negotiation-8519 Yeah when I win tonight I’m taking a picture of the ticket then going to the bank and opening a safety deposit box to keep it there. I already have a lawyer picked out. And I wouldn’t tell a soul. I would move to a different apartment and I guess restart or start the new part of my life. Yes I would keep working. Because I love my job. And yes I would take care of my family. A trust fund that pays out in their mid thirties. And of course pay my mom’s bills, expenses. And a family vacation once a year. Oh and pay the first three years of rent for my siblings.
