+87 Super Jackpot lotteries aren’t fun anymore

I know there have been quite a few posts complaining about the MM price hike to $5, but it only just hit me how it sucks the fun out of the game.

For the super lotteries (MM + PB), the whole reason we pay a premium over state lotteries is the large jackpots, those 100s of millions ones! I, like many, won't pay $5, which just leaves the PB. Last night, PB reset, and it will be a month or so before it becomes worth it again. Previously, this is when I'd switch over to MM, while PB creeps up on the meantime. But now, that's not an option.

I honestly think I'll play so infrequently that I'll forget about buying tickets even when the jackpot is high.

Oh well, maybe for the best.

+26 @ShyGuySpirit I personally was fine with the 1$ ticket with the 10$mil jackpot. Those bigger jackpot doesn't matter because any jackpot is enough for me.

+21 @AXXII_wreckless $5 for one drawing is not worth it. MM had higher odds than PB prior to the price hike, so back then, for both to be the same price , it made more sense to buy PB. I will be turning to the state lotteries for a dollar. Texas has a $2 game called All or Nothing and for the jackpot to be $250k it seems high in itself.
