If I were Filthy Rich
By Deathispositive+42 What states shouldn't you live in if you win
hundreds of millions of dollars. The highest amount of millionaire families are in California, Texas and New York. Does that mean the state creates that or do high net worth people move there ? Is it safer to live in rich areas or is it because of the amenities . I know it's probably easier to blend in rich areas. But what if you decide to look like a regular guy and drive a regular car. If you can stay anonymous, would you still move?

+30 @rumfortheborder If you have hundreds of millions, the correct answer is probably switzerland. safe and capable banks, low taxes, stable politics, extremely low crime, proximity to european capitals for restaurants and shopping and art and culture. Probably lugano because it is super close to italy.
+27 @mzx380 If you have money, there is no better place to be than New York. You are at the epicenter of art, music, fashion, finance, culture, and diversity, not to mention the best selection of cuisines worldwide.
+26 @Cheap-Bathroom-4426 I’d say move to where you’re happy, I’m definitely moving after I win. Been living in a small Texas town for over 20 years and I’m ready for a new change of scenery. Been doing research on places out west for close to a year now.
+20 @series_hybrid Federal taxes are the same where ever you go, but I serm to remember that five or six stares have no state income tax. Florida is one and its a millionaires favorite because it's a short charter plane hop to the Caribbean banks
+14 @SunshineandBullshit I'm moving to Wyoming. No state taxes and plenty of land for sale. 100 acres is a great buffer between me and anyone trying to get to me.
