If I were Filthy Rich
By FireSkyLikeFly+233 Why do you want to win the lottery? Is it for material gains?
For me, my reasons are simple - I want freedom. I've never had a desire to win the lottery until recently. I'm a little tired of companies and corporations manipulating and taking advantage of people. I've also realized that with inflation, there's no way I'm going to live comfortably in retirement. I'm not going to buy anything fancy. I'm just going to retire, explore the world, and enjoy my life.

+92 @arrowmarcher I want to travel and see the world, try all the best foods and restaurants, give to charities and organizations that massively help people. But most of all, I don’t really want to go to work on Monday.
+46 @onsnai I just want to sleep.
+36 @FloorShowoff Financial security. It terrifies me that one day I will be in a position where I will need something in order to live or someone I love will need something in order to live and I wouldn’t be able to get it for them because of money.
+26 @JurassicPark-fan-190 I want the freedom to do whatever I want and let my mom live out her remaining years without money worries. She’s sacrificed her whole life for others only to get screwed by her work.
+24 @OutrageousLuck9999 I would secretly send money to all the good people I have encountered in my life. A note with cash letting them know " thank you for your friendship, kindness and letting you know there is good out there ".
+23 @chriskicks I just want to know that I'm financially going to be ok. If I win anything beyond that, it'll be shared with friends and family, and the remainder put back into the community.
+19 @life_hog Besides the obvious wanting to not have to work every day and be disciplined about all of my spending, I look around at the world today and think about all the good someone like me could do with that kind of money. With $297MM you’re generating $21.5MM a year on 7% interest. Maybe it’s enough to start making a difference countering all this divisiveness…
+19 @Few_Consequence_8439 I'll be honest here. I really want money. That's all.
+15 @BleedingTeal I want to be able to make the lives of my friends and family easier. Obviously winning would make my own life easier, but we’ve all trudged through retail jobs, food service jobs, physically demanding jobs, physically & emotionally damaging jobs. Winning a bunch of cash to the level I can hand all of them a check for $5m and none of us ever again have to struggle or worry about being able to afford anything just evaporates. I’ve thought about how I would tell all of them, and picturing how it is they react to what would essentially be their own mini lottery win is just everything. I want to be able to do that for all 19 of the individuals & couples I have on my list more than I want a bunch of money for myself.
+11 @Sure_Ranger_4487 I just want to not have to work. Don’t want anything fancy at all. Would be nice to buy a house. Be able to travel whenever I wanted. That’s about it. Well, and of course, two chicks at the same time.
