+17 @Infamous_Chemical231 I’m convinced this is a simulation because I’ve been thinking about this on and off for this past year and someone finally asked the question. Let me sit and collect data from the replies. Hopefully this post gets some visibility and traction. It be so cool to know that people bought their tickets a day or days in advance and still won. I think there is this assumption that most winners purchased their tickets on the day of the draw. Thanks for asking this question cause inquiring minds I’m certain want to know.

+14 @CosmicallyF-d Well I can share my 100% (until Tuesday) losing method. I do lotto and laundry Saturday. I buy a single mega millions... As it gives me 4 days to dream what I could do with the money. That is the best vacation you can give your mind and stress for $2.
