+16 How did you choose your lucky lottery numbers?

I don't know if it's bad luck or anything to give out your lottery numbers but feel free to post it if you want to. What I'm really curious, though, is how do people choose their lucky lottery numbers? Also, does anyone know the statistic of winners that win by quick pick vs using Lucky Numbers?

+13 @LabGirlPRO Prepare for nonsensical rambling: I always check the winning numbers — not whether or not I won (though that too, I suppose), but the actual winning numbers — out of curiosity. And seemingly every time I read them out loud and go “Of course! That sounds right!” because I apparently think every set of winning numbers shares a certain amount of rolling-off-the-tongue-ness. Like “OF COURSE! Why didn’t I think of that combination?!” (I know it’s irrational. I warned you at the beginning of this post.) I always played QPs and then one draw I had a set of numbers that “sounded good” to me for some reason, and now I always play it. So maybe they’re not my lucky numbers, exactly, but more of a permanent quick pick? :) Anyway. Likelihood of QPs and selected numbers winning is statistically exactly the same. More people win using QPs but that’s because QPs proportionally comprise a much larger part of tickets sold. All combinations have equal luck! (Hypothetically. There is the school of thought on hot numbers and cold numbers, of course, but that’s a discussion for a different time.)
