Invest a large chunk of it, then use those proceeds to start my own animation studio so I can get some of the works I love animated, working heavily with the creators of those works. For the second part, I'd honestly have a small household. A couple of housekeepers, a gardener, and a cook. And honestly the gardener might just be some retired person who wants to just enjoy life doing gardening and has authority to hire who they want to help them.

+11 @oregonchick Housing is a nightmare here, and I'd love to be a developer whose goal is just breaking even on affordable houses. No need to earn on the investment, everything is sold at cost (or slightly below) and any rentals are priced at just enough to cover maintenance to keep them in good, livable condition. Build a community center downtown for the homeless. They get stuck loitering on public streets in part because they get run out of restaurants and other spaces. So make a place that is comfortable, where there's a dog park or dog friendly areas, somewhere they can get mail delivered, where they can bathe and do laundry, and have a soup kitchen and some offices so that social workers, medical and mental health professionals, and dentists can be available. Maybe some conference rooms for AA meetings and group therapy, classes on things that could help them get into permanent housing, etc. For my personal fun and just sheer indulgence, I want a huge basement game room that's like a sports bar and arcade, with pool, shuffle board, air hockey, etc., tables for poker and tabletop games, AND a two-lane bowling alley. Plus a crazy awesome jukebox and karaoke and a room where you can play games on a giant screen with every console imaginable. I want acreage with an amusement park scale train that runs all over the place (like the one at Disneyland where there are cars people can sit in). I'd want to have a village facade built on the property and then create seasonal decorations so you had a "destination" on the ride -- fully decked out with twinkle lights and wreaths and Christmas carols in December, but spooky and haunted for October, sprays of flowers and woodland creatures at Easter, etc. I'd probably have a separate house on the acreage for a property manager or estate couple to live in. They'd oversee any additional staff needed to maintain the place plus work there themselves. I'd definitely have housekeeping, possibly at least some meals each week prepared in advance by a chef who knows my taste, definitely get regular pedicures, massages, etc., and most likely work a couple of times a week with a trainer.
