+27 If you won a billion, what would you do as a Foodie?

What would you do regarding food especially as a Foodie?

Hiring a professional full time personal chef? Buy a restaurant or two?

+48 @zushiba I would travel to every country and try good food in every beautiful location I could find.

+24 @canipetyourdog420 Finally buy all the highest quality ingredients and top end cooking equipment for my house. I love to cook so I probably wouldn't hire a chef, just a maid to clean my kitchen when I'm done every night.

+24 @nothankyounotnow Get fat.

+18 @bubonis Buy a large tract of land to make a working vertical farm to grow 100% of the produce I need. Similarly set up a small dairy farm for milk, using it to create butter, cheese, etc. Hire homeless and otherwise impoverished people to work the farm, paying them a living wage. Build reasonable and affordable small housing for my employees to live in while they build a nest egg to move on. Work with a like-minded meat supplier to get the freshest meat and fish possible. Build two restaurants on opposite sides of the land, one for fine dining and the other for family dining. Use my fresh ingredients to create appropriate dishes for both restaurants. Eat like a king.

+12 @fappyday Travel, eat, take people with me, collect stories and recipes. I'd live like Anthony Bourdain.

+10 @jgonc Attend to every single 3 stars Michelin restaurant in the world When at home I'd hire personal chef with wine pairing background to elaborate singular dinners and party No more frozen meat /fish / seafood ever just fresh stuff No more bottled juice, yogurt, canned tomatoes Sparkling water everywhere in the house Huge wine cellar

+9 @lintfilms I would bring on a live in chef/nutritionist whose sole job would be to sculpt a tasty whole foods plant based diet to get me in better shape physically. It would be worth $100k a year to me if I were obnoxiously wealthy to have someone who makes sure I have healthy meals that taste great and are relatively low calorie yet satisfying. I mean the sad part is that I love a good garden salad, even with salsa as dressing in lieu of a more caloric dressing, but it takes so much time and energy to prepare healthy meals with a great variety that convenience for me usually trumps the effort required to eat healthy food even when the ingredients are available. Don't get me wrong, I would dine out too, but I would set my life up to make being healthier in terms of food a lot easier. It worked to a large degree for a lot of celebrities, so...
