If I were Filthy Rich

+76 I hate being tied to a job

And thats the biggest relief from winning the lottery. I wouldn't have to do work a boring or stressful job just to avoid homelessness.

I think that alone would make me happier by 60%.

+30 @Chromattix Yep! That's the main reason I enter. The nice house, cars, vacations, designer clothes, eating out every day etc are all secondary. I just don't wanna set an alarm again, never have to clock in to some place by a certain time anymore, not have when I can eat be dictated for me by my schedule and never have to deal with customers or management not treating me with respect again. Work has so far proven itself to be the absolute least satisfying element of being an adult by a very wide margin. I'm actually quite content when I'm not there or thinking about it even with the little I currently have. In fact, during the lockdown last year (I only got 2 months before it was back to work) I was the most relaxed and happy I've ever been as an adult. Most people started complaining about how "bored" they were in a month, some even missing work. I just couldn't comprehend that. In fact even after two months I still feel like I hadn't had my fill and the whole experience taught me that I'm so ready to retire right now and just focus on the stuff I care about on a time schedule that suits me. I actually buy more tickets after a particularly shitty string of days at work. Fucking hell I want out.
