+39 Would you still get a trust if your state allowed anonymous claims?

I understand it’s still important to get a lawyer and set up a trust eventually to protect yourself. But would you take the extra risk and give the lawyer/law firm the ticket to claim it on your behalf behind a trust, especially if you’re in a state that can claim the winnings anonymously?

+35 @ATX_Giant84 I live in a state that allows complete anonymity, and have one of the most commonly recurring names in the US. No need to have a trust set up just to claim it. I'd get a trust set up for asset protection. Combined with an umbrella liability insurance policy, that pretty much makes you financially bulletproof against lawsuits and other financial injunctions.
