I have thought a lot about what I'd do if I won the Powerball. I would obviously take my family out of poverty, but ALSO:

1)I would start non-profits to distribute farm surplus as well as retail and food chain waste to food distribution centers in food deserts and areas affected by generational poverty and homelessness.

2) I'd turn closed food markets ( and dilapidated buildings) into family homeless shelters (the shelter being built on top of the closed market) where the market is repurposed as a weekly food bank for not only the residents, but the surrounding community.

3) I'd start initiatives to turn vacant lots into shared public gardens (for planting botanicals or vegetables or both) to promote a healthy environment and sense of community. (Which would also help to get fresh, healthy produce to those in need)

This is just a few of the things I've thought about if I were to win a huge jackpot. I'd also buy or build a house that looks just like Hill House from the Netflix show, with secret passages to a secret library and bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub as well as a food elevator from the kitchen to the upstairs hallway and TV beds (but canopy beds). Basically an old Tudor style with modern technology hidden in plain sight. I'm only human, of course I'm going to want cool stuff but I also like helping people and I'd love to do stuff like I mentioned if I had the money.

I don't know, just figured I'd post about what I'd like to do if I won a ton of money...seems like the idea behind the sub. Sorry if I misunderstood that...
