If I were Filthy Rich
By Dizzy_Emotion7381+66 Honestly, it doesn't even need to be a mega jackpot
I would be fine with enough to buy a house and a car. I would then be able to get a loan to buy a laundromat and start making some real money to put toward leaving my kids an inheritance. $150,000 after taxes is all I would need.

+17 @fruitloombob Yep. 100m would be great, but beyond a bare minimum of 5m is almost a waste without sharing it. though not would cause me to feel selfish. The reason i say 5m is that my dividend stocks net about 5%. That's more than enough to outrun most inflation and replace my income.
+14 @herkalurk It's my wife's logic. That any win is a good win. Yeah, 100+ million and the ability to just retire right now and start perpetually traveling the earth sounds amazing. But even 1 million before taxes (about 650k after) completely pays off every debt we have. Probably buy a 2nd car (EV) and put a lot into accounts for different purposes. Travel, stocks, hysa, retirement, and do some refurb/remodel on the house. It's not enough for me to retire or anything, but it heavily increases our ease of life and when we don't have any debt, makes dealing with bills simpler.
