If I were Filthy Rich
By Correct-Breadfruit32+143 Im done. I got my last ticket for the 31st. Last day of the year. After that I’m not buying any more.
I’ve Lost more than have won. In the last decades of buying lotteries, if I had invested instead, I would have a lot more now. So I’m farewells the gambling lifestyle. Starting next year, the lottery money is going towards stocks and crypto. I see better returns than shaving it away. My last ticket is Tuesday. If I win, great .. if no, I’m turning my life around. Looking back to 15 years of dreaming of lottery and never gotten a single proper win is devastating, what is more the thought that putting than money elsewhere could have been better for my future than this shitty feeling of failure I endure today.

+18 @ByzFan I really only buy tickets as fantasy fuel. Hope cope. I usually buy the big three whenever I go grocery shopping. No favorite numbers. So that's five bucks a stop. Two or three times a week. Totaling less than twenty dollars a week. I spend that much on soda each week. Probably more. Don't play to win. Play to play.
+12 @Kahne_Fan Our area let's us purchase a ticket that's good for multiple drawings (10 or 15 game depending). I'll purchase a ticket good for 10 drawings, which is a months worth. Keeps me from buying more than I need. I just buy the "1" ticket once a month and don't think about it again until that ticket expires. I honestly don't even pay attention to jackpot size because I know I have a ticket in my desk drawer already, so lotto is out of mind until next month.
