If I were Filthy Rich

+35 Anonymity in California and many other states is almost impossible.

I see the stay anonymous comment on almost every post. Unless you have a John Smith kind of name you’d be screwed.

+23 @QualifiedApathetic Claiming the winnings anonymously is just the first hurdle. You have the rest of your life for people to find out you're obscenely wealthy. And frankly, I don't expect to hide it forever. People love to say that they'll live modestly, but that's so boring, and I'm pressing X to doubt. If you find yourself with an urge to buy a $1 million yacht, you're really going to pass because you don't want people to find out you have money? I want to win the lottery so I can buy the things I want. If I want a luxury car, I'm buying one. If I don't, I won't, but I'm not going to put up a front for the next few decades because I'm afraid of people coming to me with their hands out.

+10 @opbmedia Plenty of richer people (even with the $1B, I mean, \~$300m prize) are not anonymous. Just figure out how to act and deal with people.
