If I were Filthy Rich
By vendeep+11 What would you rather win? 5 free Powerball lottery tickets a day for the rest of your life or 10 dollars a day for the rest of your life?
Assume the $10 is inflation adjusted as your life goes on.
The power ball numbers are random picks.
The value of either option is $3650 USD a year.

+15 @TransitBuff $10 a day for the rest of my life and spend them on Lotto Texas tickets or lunch. It's a free lunch for the rest of your life.
+12 @andylovesdais Let’s say you get 5 tickets a day for 50 years. That would be 91,250 tickets. On average, 1 in 3,202 of us who did that deal would hit the jackpot at some point during those 50 years. That’s a big improvement from the 1 in 292,000,000 odds of one ticket hitting. However, 1 in 3000 chance is very bad and the $10 per day is higher expected value if it all gets averaged out. Each ticket is probably only worth about a dollar after the drawing, if you distributed the prizes evenly over all the tickets.
