If I were Filthy Rich

+11 I have a few questions

1) If someone had to claim their ticket physically how would they make sure that they weren’t followed when they left?

2) is it okay to get an attorney who practices in a different state than you? for example, if i live in california but i find a reputable lawyer in Texas, could i still work with him? & if he practices in more than one thing could i use him for both? for example, if he practices in Estate Planning & Trust & Estates, could i use him for both?

3) What’s the diff between an Accountant & a Financial Advisor? & do i really even need a Financial Advisor?

+13 @ThrowawayLDS_7gen Accountants and financial advisors are too very different jobs. Financial advisors do not know everything about taxation. An accountant pretty much knows everything that has to do with delaying revenue recognition in order to legally lower your tax liabilities. At least a good accountant would. Accountants can do finance, but finance can't do accounting because of taxation. Now a tax attorney can really cover your ass if needed, but they will charge you a shit ton of money if needed. But, you only need one if you're going to tax court. Use a competent accountant and you should never need to go to court to resolve tax issues. Get a lawyer for the estate planning.
